王冰教授是哈佛大学房地产与建成环境副教授;哈佛大学设计研究生院(GSD)设计学房地产与建筑环境主任。她还是哈佛大学GSD和哈佛商学院联合房地产管理项目的主席之一, 项目涵括设计,金融和领导力教育。她是哈佛中国基金指导委员会的成员,并经常受邀在世界著名大学讲学,包括在英国剑桥大学和英国阿尔斯特大学担任访问学者。

王冰教授为美国及世界多地的政府,私人机构和房地产开发商提供专业咨询,并领导各种国际研究项目。她跨学科的专业实践加强了她学术研究和教学广度和深度。她曾在美国雷曼兄弟公司担任投资顾问。王冰教授创立了凯龙(瑞)投资有限公司和雍有投资有限责任公司(两家私募股权公司),分别专注于房地产投资和媒体制作公司的股权投资。

王冰教授和她的设计公司HyperBina Group开展对世界多国,包括美国,英国,中国,日本,沙特阿拉伯和德国的不同城市的房地产和建筑的研究和设计。她目前的研究重点是利用人工智能和机器学习来解释房地产开发模式,并利用大数据分析来获得关于城市空间与共享经济之间的关系。她关于美国新兴的微型居住空间和中国社区度假村开发的研究成果分别在2016年和2018年获得美国房地产学会颁发的公寓和综合用途类最佳研究论文奖。王冰教授保送至中国清华大学建筑学院,并分别获得美国哈佛大学授予的硕士和博士学位。

 

Dr. Bing Wang, is Associate Professor in Practice of Real Estate and the Built Environment and faculty Co-Head for Master of Design Real Estate program at the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD). She is also a faculty co-chair for Real Estate Management: Design, Finance and Leadership program, a joint program between the Harvard GSD and Harvard Business School, and a faculty co-chair for Advanced Real Estate Development program at the GSD. She is a member of the Steering Committee for Harvard China Fund.

Her published books include Prestige Retail: Design and Development, The Global Leadership in Real Estate and Design, The Architectural Profession of Modern China, Nexus: Field Studies in Real Estate, Planning, and Design and the forthcoming book Understanding China’ Real Estate Market: Development, Finance and Investment. She is on the Editorial and Advisory Boards of the Journal of Sustainable Real Estate, the Journal of Planning Theory and Practice and Journal of German Real Estate.

Dr. Wang has advised governments, private organizations, and real estate development companies in the United States, China, and around the world, and has led various international research projects. She bridges the fields of design and real estate and brings global experience as an executive and board director of investment and development companies. She worked as an investment advisor for Lehman Brothers and co-founded two private equity firms KaiLong REI and YongYou Investments LLCs.

Her current research focuses on using AI and machine learning to interpret real estate development patterns and utilizing big data analytics to gain unique perspectives on the relationship between urban and emerging development typologies of the sharing economy. Her research manuscripts on micro-housing in the US and community resort developments in China have won Best Papers Awards by the American Real Estate Societies in 2016 and 2018.
