张然,现任artnet大中华区总监兼 artnet新闻中文网出版人,负责大中华地区的战略、市场和运营。现居纽约和北京。
本科毕业于波士顿塔夫茨大学艺术史和经济学专业,随后于杜克大学商学院取得管理学位。毕业后加入德国老牌上市公司artnet — 艺术界的“彭博社”。

几年来,她建立并带领团队积极开拓大中华市场,领导并策划了全球首个基于大数据的artnet艺术大奖晚宴及纽约亚洲艺术周的中国艺术论坛等多个大型市场活动,促成了与亚洲主要艺博会、财讯集团、新浪、中央电视台、中国拍卖协会等机构的合作关系。连续4年与中国拍卖行业协会共同发布的《中国文物艺术品全球拍卖统计年报》,梳理中国艺术品在全球范围内的数据。 搭建并运营中文新闻网以通过带来最新国际信息,且在3年内达到浏览量最高的专业艺术媒体。策划与腾讯合作的第一款艺术类小程序,将全球画廊网络开放给中国用户。

Over the past 5 years, Jessica has been overseeing artnet’s China strategy, operation and marketing initiatives. Under Zhang’s leadership, artnet has formed partnerships with key players in the arts and governmental as well as institutions including BMW, Caijing/SEEC Media Group Limited, Sina Corp and China Association of Auctioneers. She also led team to organize a successful full day international summit on the Chinese art market in New York, and facilitated artnet’s appearance and participation at a CCTV-2 program.
In 2015, she launched artnet news China (via wechat account and website, artnetnews.cn) in 2015, which leads the effort to further develop artnet’s brand in China and introduce latest art world news content across Asia . In 2017, she initiated and launched the world’s first art “Mini-Program” on WeChat, a light app that introduces easy artwork search and gallery guides around the world, to Wechat’s over 1 billion users. Zhang has represented artnet at prestigious international art fairs and events, such as Art Basel, Frieze, Venice Biennale and Istanbul Biennial, and speaking engagement at Photofairs Shanghai and San Fransciso, Harvard University and University of Pennsylvania.
A Beijing native, Jessica has graduated from Tufts University in Boston where she studied Art History and Economics, and received her business degree from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
