YAWEN TAO

Yawen Tao is a first year student at Harvard Business School. Prior to HBS, Yawen worked in the global trading business at British Petroleum. Prior to that, she completed the company’s global management trainee program, where she gained extensive operational experience. Yawen grew up in Wuhan, Hubei. She attended Nanjing University and studied international trade and economics. In her free time, she likes running and enjoys the arts (museums, exhibitions and live performances).

MARK MA

Mark is a 2nd year MBA student at Harvard Business School. Mark grew up between Hong Kong, mainland China, and the U.S. Prior to HBS, Mark worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and Beijing. He is an avid golfer and loves aviation and traveling. Mark is a graduate of Boston College.

LI KE

Li Ke is a first year MBA student at Harvard Business School. Born and raised in Hang Zhou, China, Li Ke spent last 15 years in Singapore. He had his undergraduate in Nanyang Technological University (Business School), with double degrees in Accountancy and Finance. Prior to HBS, he worked as finance manager in Procter & Gamble Asia Pacific for 6 years.

Shiqi is a first-year MBA student at Harvard Business School. Shiqi worked on venture investments across healthcare, life sciences and technology before HBS. He graduated from University of Pennsylvania with dual degrees, majoring in Computer Science at School of Engineering & Applied Science and concentration in Finance at The Wharton School.

LYDIA WANG

Lydia is a first year MBA student at Harvard Business School. Prior to HBS, Lydia spent three years at Wells Fargo Securities M&A team in Hong Kong, sourcing and executing cross-border M&A transactions. Prior to that, Lydia was an Investment/ Research Analyst at JPMorgan Investment Management based in New York. Lydia received a B.S. in Commerce from University of Virginia in 2014.

MEILIN XIAO

Meilin is a first-year MBA student at Harvard Business School. Prior to HBS, she worked in management consulting in Shanghai and tech startup in Beijing. She enjoys photography.

Ryan Qin is a first-year MBA student at Harvard Business School. Prior to business school, he was a Human Resources manager at Procter & Gamble, focusing on culture and change management, organization design, and capability development. In his spare time, he enjoys arts, music, movies and travelling.

Alice Wang is a first-year student at Harvard Business School. Previously she worked in investment banking division in Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan based in Hong Kong. She is passionate about music, movies, oil painting, and snowboarding.

Jeff is an entrepreneur who started Lumos Helmet as cofounder and CTO of the company. Currently a student at Harvard Business School and Harvard School of Engineering and Applied science, Jeff is interested in exploring the intersection of Technology and Business.

Jingxin Luo is a MBA candidate at Harvard Business School. Prior to HBS, she worked as an Associate at McKinsey Shanghai office, specializing in Healthcare (by industry) and Marketing & Sales (by function). Jingxin is a member of HBS Marketing Club, Retail & Luxury Goods Club and Greater China Club. She enjoys Yoga and watching Korean shows during spare time.

KATIE KAN

Katie Kan is a first year MBA student at Harvard Business School, passionate about strategy and design in healthcare. Prior to HBS, Katie worked at Medtronic and Northern Light Venture Capital. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Masters in Bioengineering Innovation and Design. In her free time, Katie likes to travel, discover new restaurants and bake.

ELLE LIU

Elle is an experienced Product Strategist in Tech industry. She worked at both big tech firms including Tencent & Airbnb, and also several startup unicorns in China. In her previous role as a Product Manager at Tencent Cloud, she spearheaded a new product line of Education Data Center which provides data storage and analysis service for schools and education departments.

Elle has an integrated background in both Engineering and Design – She gained her Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University, and her Master’s degree in Product Design from University of Pennsylvania. Now as a 1st year MBA student of Harvard Business School, Elle is seeking to move one step further in her career life, making a formal leap to a business-centric strategy role.

Joyce is a first year MBA student in Harvard Business School (HBS). Before HBS, Joyce worked for Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), a global food and agriculture company, in Mergers and Acquisitions role covering APAC market. Before ADM, Joyce was a consultant in Meritco Services leading projects in consumer practice. Joyce graduated from Warwick Business School with Master of Science in Business Analytic.

DEMI GUO

Demi Guo is a junior in Currier House at Harvard College. She was born in California, and later moved to Hangzhou, China. She’s planning to concentrate in mathematics and computer science. She loves food, dogs, running, reading poems outdoors and simply enjoying life. Besides HCCF, she conducts research and leads various organizations on campus related to women initiatives, entrepreneurship, and technology.
