Executive Vice President, CRRC MA Corporation; 中国中车美国公司执行副总裁
Jia Bo joined China North Car Changchun Railway Vehicles Co. Ltd. (CNR CRC) in 1993, and progressively held key senior and managerial positions. Jia Bo made tremendous contributions to the business development of CNR CRC, especially during CNR CRC’s bid for the Massachusetts Road Transport Authority (MBTA) Orange and Red line projects on behalf of China Railway and Rolling stock Corporation (CRRC). Although starting from scratch, under Jia Bo’s leadership and through five years of constant hard work, in October 2014, CRN CRC became the first Chinese company to win a mass transit vehicle project from a U.S. state government. After such historical breakthrough, Jia Bo took the role of Executive Vice President of CRRC Massachusetts Corporation. Today, Jia Bo and his team received additional orders from the MBTA, and won additional deals across the U.S., such as from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority and Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transport Authority. Since 2013, Jia Bo assumed the role of Assistant General Manager of CNR CRC, and was known for his excellent grasp of core technology and effective project management skills. The department of mass transit vehicle led by Jia Bo occupied 50% of China’s then market share. Under Jia Bo’s leadership, the department successfully delivered projects to over 13 countries across the world.
