Ying Shuling, born in Shanghai on June 16, 1981, is a pioneer in China’s mobile game launching industry, and a forerunner of the mobile e-sports gaming. He is the captain of the Hero Racing fleet that has won the grand champion of China Cup International Regatta in 2014, 2015 and 2016; the Founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and CEO of Hero Entertainment Group; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hero Sports, Executive Vice President of the E-sports Gaming Sub-committee of Chinese Ministry of Culture; and Chairman of the Hong Kong Electronic Sports Federation. Ying Shuling studied at the Department of Geography at East China Normal University in Shanghai. After six months at the university, Ying Shuling opted to drop out of school to start his own business. In 2013, he served as the President of China Mobile Games and Entertainment Group Limited (NASDAQ: CMGE). On June 16, 2015, Ying Shuling founded Hero Entertainment – China’s “first share in mobile e-sports” which was successfully listed in the country. H.BROTHERS, Sequoia Capital, Focus Media, Zhen Fund, China Renaissance Partners and Wanzhong Tiandi made a joint investment of RMB 3 billion in Hero Entertainment. Ying Shuling assumes the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Hero Entertainment.
