叶文妮博士是哈佛大学陈冯富珍公共卫生学院全球卫生与人口系全球卫生政策与经济实践教授,也是全校中国卫生伙伴关系主任。叶博士曾任牛津大学布拉瓦特尼克政府学院卫生政策和经济学教授,牛津大学格林邓普顿学院高级研究员,曾任全球卫生政策项目主任。

叶博士拥有麻省理工学院经济学博士学位。她的研究重点是:1) 设计、实施和评估系统保健干预措施,以提高负担得起的公平获得以及提供保健服务的效率和质量,特别是穷人;2) 提高保健服务的效率和质量;2) 提高保健干预措施的提供效率和质量。2) 建模和评估激励对提供者(组织和个人)和患者行为的影响。

Dr. Winnie Yip holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research addresses the question of how to transform health care spending into effective services through health system interventions that integrate financing, provider payment incentives, organization, management and technology. With a network of eleven Chinese universities and research institutions, Dr. Yip conducts social experiments to develop affordable, effective and sustainable health care for the rural population of China. In India, Dr. Yip leads a team of Harvard and India based researchers in designing, implementing and evaluating equitable and high quality mixed public-private health care systems in the states of Odisha and Maharashtra. In addition, she has studied and advised health care reforms in the wider Asia region, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and she directs several executive training courses for senior health policymakers in China and India.
Dr. Yip is President of the International Health Economics Association. She has served as an adviser to many international agencies. She is a member of Track II Dialogue on Healthcare of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and commissioners for the Lancet Commission for Ageing in China and the Lancet Commission on Primary Health Care in China. She was a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for the Healthy China: Deepening Health Reform in China report sponsored by the World Bank and the World Health Organization. She was also a member of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and the National Academy of Medicine’s Standing Committee on Health Systems Strengthening. She is the Senior Editor for Health Policy of Social Science and Medicine (Elsevier), Associate Editor of Health Economics (Wiley) and Health Systems & Reform (Francis&Taylor). Her research has been funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the National Science Foundation, the Economics and Social Research Council (UK), the World Bank and the World Health Organization.
